The Pennies for the Pool Project is the perfect way for friends and campers of  4-H Camp Palmer  to contribute to the new pool project.  Our current pool is 55 years old and really wasn’t meant to last this long. Our pool is long overdue for a replacement. To date we have raised $1831.75 through the Pennies for the Pool Campaign.

 About the New Pool:

• Size will be 35 feet wide x 75 feet long

• Depth will range from 3 feet to 5.5 feet

• Estimated cost: Pool and Deck: $325,000  with water slide $375,000

• Cost includes steps, ADA handicap lift, underwater lights, increased deck space and new fencing

• Currently have raised $102,000 (overall effort)

2. Winning 4-H Club will be announced on our Facebook Page and at 4-H Camp Palmer.

In today's capital intensive agriculture, every farm business needs a balance sheet that is updated annually at the very least. A balance sheet is often required by a lender to show net worth and liquidity leverage. However, as farm businesses analyze their balance sheets over time, the debt structure and net worth changes can provide insight into business strengths and/or weaknesses. FINPACK has set the standard for agricultural balance sheets.

The future is often dictated by the past. Before making decisions that will affect the future of a farm business, the past year's profitability should be calculated ad compared to industry benchmarks.
