County Master Gardener News
Community Gardens
The Defiance County Master Gardeners coordinate and have established three Community Garden Plots. Eighteen plots in Defiance, OH, twelve plots in Hicksville, OH, and fifteen plots in Sherwood, OH. The plots are adopted by citizens to plant, care for and harvest product throughout the growing season. Participants consume their own produce, donate surplus to local needs and/or sell produce at the Defiance County Farmers Markets.
