Paulding County Agronomy Day


Please join us for the annual Paulding County Agronomy Day.

The Ohio State University Extension Office in Paulding County will be hosting their annual Agronomy Day on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM.  Topics for the Day will include:  Stepping up Soybean Production: Seed Treatments and Everything but the Kitchen Sink, by Laura Lindsey, OSU Small Grains and Soybean Specialist; Are You and Your Heirs Ready to Continue the Farm Business, David Marrison, Associate Professor OSU; Use of Poultry, Swine and Dairy Manure with Crops in Northwest Ohio, Glen Arnold OSUE State Specialist, Manure Management; Cover Crops – How does it relate to Soil Conservation and Water Quality, Jim Hoorman Associate Professor OSU. 


Cost of the event is $25 if postmarked by January 25, 2014 which includes a light breakfast and catered lunch.  Registration at the door is $30.  Over 20 booths will be set up for producers to view from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM and over the lunch hour.  Speakers will begin at 9:30 AM.  Certified Crop Advisor credits are available for the day.  For more information contact Sarah Noggle, OSU Extension Paulding County at 419.399.8225 extension 25 or by email at .
