About Special Projects
The primary purpose of the Paulding County Youth Leadership Center is to provide a centralized location for various youth leadership programs. The primary audience is the youth organizations of Paulding County that build character among our young people. The Center is available for Paulding County Youth organizations to use free of charge. To utilize this service, contact the OSU Extension office and they will put you in touch with the Building for Character Council. The Paulding County Youth Leadership Center is a place where our youth will learn how to be persons of good moral character while at the same time developing valuable leadership skills needed in the 21st Century. With this in mind, the Building for Character Council has adopted the Six Pillars of Character as a benchmark for developing operational guidelines. The six pillars of Character are: Trustworthiness, Fairness, Respect, Caring, Responsibility, and Citizenship.
